What is TOKNORA?
TOKNORA is a local token analytics app. It monitors Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and more — showing you where your AI spend goes, with zero cloud dependency.
Dashboard
The main analytics view. Use the period buttons to change the time window. Use the Filter by project dropdown to focus on a single project. The Export CSV button downloads all visible data.
- Overview — total cost, calls, sessions, cache hit %
- Daily Activity — bar chart of cost per day
- By Project — cost breakdown per project path
- Top Sessions — most expensive individual sessions
- By Activity — auto-classified work types (coding, debugging…)
- By Model — cost and cache hit per model
- Core Tools / MCP / Shell — most used tools
Live
Polls the most recent session every 10 seconds. Shows active session cost in real-time, models used in the last 2 hours, and top tools. The green dot pulses when a session was active in the last 5 minutes.
Optimize
Scans the last 30 days for inefficiency patterns and assigns an Efficiency Score (A–F). Each finding card shows estimated tokens wasted, potential cost savings, and a recommended fix.
- High impact (red) — fix immediately
- Medium impact (yellow) — review when possible
- Low impact (blue) — optional improvements
Budget
Tracks your 30-day spend against subscription plans (Claude Pro $20, Max×5 $100, Max×20 $200) and shows how many days remain at your current burn rate. The Context Budget panel estimates how much of Claude’s context window your configuration already occupies.
Compare
Side-by-side comparison of two time periods. Select Period A and Period B independently. Delta indicators (↑/↓) show percentage change — green means improvement (lower cost / higher cache).
Export
Click the ↓ Export button to open the Export panel.

- Audio (TTS) — spoken overview using your OS voice (no API, no internet)

Alerts
Configure spend thresholds in Settings → Alerts. When a threshold is crossed, TOKNORA can notify you via:
- Desktop popup — system notification (always available)
- Sound — system beep or custom audio file
- Email — SMTP (e.g. Gmail app password)
- Telegram — bot token + chat ID (free Telegram bot)
Use the Test buttons to verify each channel before enabling.
